Darwin-based Absolute Signage NT specialises in the manufacture and supply of traffic signage and roadside products – it offers everything from guideposts and wheel stops to bollards and traffic cones. 

Co-owners Sinead Burnett and Clayton Dumigan share a clear vision: to be the leading traffic signage supplier in the Northern Territory. 

Absolute Signage NT began in 2024 when they saw a gap in the market for locally produced traffic signage. 

After investing in new equipment and setting up a functional office and workshop in Berrimah, the business now produces a full range of traffic signage, including regulatory, warning, guide, temporary and information signage, all made to meet NT and Australian standards. 

Sinead, an Aboriginal woman born and raised in Darwin, plays a key role in the success of the business. 

She has two daughters and, after completing Year 12, worked with an NGO providing financial literacy programs in Arnhem Land. 

Sinead then completed a certificate in business before launching Mala-Ngoor Enterprises (now Absolute Signage NT) in 2018 when her youngest daughter was two years old. 

Clayton, also born and raised in Darwin, brings more than 30 years of experience in the signage industry. 

Starting his career straight after school, he has extensive knowledge of all aspects of the signage business, from sales through to manufacturing. 

Clayton and Sinead are grateful to their business partners, who have been instrumental in the growth of Absolute Signage NT. Their support has been vital in building the foundation of the business and setting it on the path to success. 

Looking ahead, the team at Absolute Signage NT is committed to further growth, focusing on providing quality options for clients throughout the Territory. With a small, dedicated workforce, they aim to create more local employment opportunities and give back to the community by hiring local talent.
