SPROUT RETURNS TO IT’S ROOTS
A NEW ERA FOR THE NT’S LEADING CREATIVE AGENCY

In a significant shift for the Northern Territory’s creative industry, Campaign Edge Sprout has announced its return to operating solely as Sprout, a fully Territory-owned and operated creative agency.
Founder and Director Anya Lorimer has returned as the sole shareholder, marking a strategic departure from the national agency, Campaign Edge.
The restructure is a reaffirmation of Sprout’s commitment to the entire Territory business community.
With a dedicated team based in Darwin and exploring commercial office space in Katherine, the company is set to continue its legacy of providing authentic, high-impact marketing and communications services tailoredto the unique needs of clients.
For over two decades, Anya has built Sprout into one of the most respected agencies in the NT, known for its innovative approach to branding, advertising, positive news stories and graphic design. The company
has played a pivotal role in shaping the identities of major Territory organisations, including PowerWater, TIO, City of Darwin, DCOH and MACC.
By reclaiming full independence, Sprout can focus exclusively on Territory-first integrated strategies.
“The partnership transition is an amicable one,” Anya says.
“I wouldn’t have made it through the madness of covid without the directorial support and guidance
I received over those years.
“We are busy in our unique space and the Territory is diverse enough without shifting our footprint too broad. We tried it for five solid years and part on good terms.”
Sprout is a creative-led, full-service agency — small enough to be agile and responsive, yet powerful enough to deliver impactful marketing and communications solutions across all business sectors.
“The agency delivers PR, media management and social media, so we can effectively be
your outsourced option with experienced account managers.”
Sprout delivers digital marketing for Tourism Top End, large-scale installation exhibitions, such as Unruly Days at the Museum and Art Gallery of the NT and delivers the iconic Barunga Festival, which has won Australian and international awards.
“A key priority for Sprout is investing in local creative talent,” Anya says. “The company prides itself on employing designers, writers, marketers and event specialists, ensuring that its work is deeply rooted in understanding and shaping the NT’s distinct identity.”
Sprout is the driving force behind two of the NT’s most influential publications:
- Territory Q – a premier business magazine showcasing the success stories, industry insights and economic developments shaping the NT.
- Blak Business – in partnership with NTIBN, a high-quality magazine dedicated to Indigenous members and allied business achievements, entrepreneurship and cultural storytelling.
Under sole ownership, Anya is looking at expanding the publishing arm into South-East Asia by adding RedPlus to its publishing portfolio.
“Through these publications, Sprout ensures that Territory-based businesses, Indigenous enterprises and the growing interest in Asian relations and trade have a strong, positive presence and wide-reaching targeted news platforms.”
As Sprout moves back to a fully independent entity, its mission remains clear: to deliver high-quality, locally driven creative solutions in the Northern Territory. With a passion for communication, a commitment
to local businesses, and a proven track record delivering events, Sprout is set to continue making
a lasting impact for our clients.
Sprout proudly services the mining and gas resource sectors, and is pro-Territory development under the new government, looking to play a key role in moving the NT forward. Sprout has always been committed
to helping businesses and industries grow, innovate, and thrive in a rapidly evolving economic landscape.
“Evolution is part of the communication landscape. Sprout started in 2001 – four years before Facebook – and we are always reviewing our business model to meet the market.”
This new era marks an exciting time for one of the Territory’s most established creative agencies — one that will keep the Territory spirit at the heart of everything it does.
The agency name is inspired by the Paul Kelly song From Little Things Big Things Grow and is focused on fostering meaningful collaborations that enhance the NT’s creative and business landscape.
