AANT have acquired shares in the Northern Territory-based vehicle salary packaging business Fleet Choice NT.

Fleet Choice is the largest provider of vehicle packaging in the Territory – it helps more than 100 employers, including the Northern Territory Government.

AANT is the largest membership association in the Territory with more than 20,000 members.

They have been been reinvesting profits back into their membership and community for nearly 60 years.

AANT President Trevor Cox says: “Fleet Choice NT’s business offering is highly complementary to the existing services provided to our members.

“As part of the arrangement, Fleet Choice NT’s client base will have the opportunity to access the suite of benefits offered by AANT.”

AANT Chief Executive Anthony Hill says: “We have had the opportunity to understand Fleet Choice NT’s business over a number of years and are impressed with their track record in providing exceptional service to their clients for over 10 years.

“Their strong financial position was appealing to AANT and the natural synergies between the two businesses are undeniable.

“The acquisition allows us to continue with the sound fiscal managing that our valued members have come to expect.”

Fleet Choice NT Director James Herraman says: “Fleet Choice NT is thrilled to be joining forces with AANT, and their experienced directorship and executive team make them an ideal partner, so we expect to continue to build on our recent growth.

“As the only 100 percent NT-owned business operating in this sector, it is great that we can continue that with this AANT investment.

“The capital contribution allows our business to introduce significant client enhancements in the first quarter of 2022, including improvements in technology and a market-leading environmental strategy.

“Our clients will continue to experience the local service that makes our product offering so special.

“Our team of nine, who are all based in Darwin, are excited with the warm welcome they have received from AANT.”
