We’ve proudly employed thousands of Territorians since the early 2000s to support Ichthys LNG, along with helping to develop local talent through education and training programs. We also offer ongoing support through long-term partnerships and sponsorships to a range of community organisations and programs in the Territory. 

Our work simply wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of local businesses. We extend our deepest gratitude to Darwin-based contractors and enterprises whose support underpins everything we do. 

Our Darwin-based Ichthys team, made up of more than 600 people and their families, is proud to be part of the Territory community and our local employees and contractors share a strong community focus. Many have generously volunteered their time to share personal journeys, mentor young people, and inspire the next generation. Their efforts have enriched multiple local programs, creating pathways of opportunity, and strengthening the fabric of our community. 

In 2025, we launched the INPEX Vision 2035. 

This ambitious roadmap sets out INPEX’s strategic targets for the coming decade to grow our business by 60% and reduce our carbon intensity by 60% compared to 2019 levels. 

The three focus areas defined in the Vision 2035 include: 

• The expansion of our LNG business;

• Lower carbon solutions; and

• The promotion of renewable energy projects.
